About the Teacher

Hi! I’m Mark, and I’m the creator of ProEnglishTutors.

Originally from Virginia, USA, I started teaching English back in 2000, and I’ve loved it ever since. What began as a part-time job quickly turned into a full-blown passion—and, eventually, a mission: help English learners feel more confident, natural, and themselves when they speak.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students from all over the world—inside classrooms, over video calls, private lessons, and sometimes even while waiting in airport lounges (yes, really). I’ve taught beginners, business professionals, nervous test-takers—you name it.

These days, I live in the UAE, teach online, and spend most of my time building ProEnglishTutors into a space where learning English feels less like a chore—and more like a conversation with a good friend.
